Editing Projects with SFTP Clients

I'm happy to share that Circumeo now supports SFTP!

This means that you can now use the FTP client of your choice, such as FileZilla, to edit projects. You can also use editors that support SFTP, such as VSCode, to work on projects remotely. The web editor isn't going anywhere, but SFTP support opens up more options for how to edit your project.

SFTP is available for all projects. To use it, open your project and go to the Settings tab. If you scroll down there, you will see an SFTP section that lists a username, password, and host. Use these credentials with the SFTP client of your choice.

All updates made while editing over SFTP will trigger live updates to your Django project. If you'd rather deploy manually, you can visit the Settings tab and uncheck the "dev mode" toggle.
